Introduction
Welcome to Jawdah. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to both testers and companies who use our services. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
1. Definitions
- Platform: Jawdah, the online service connecting companies with software testers.
- User: Any individual or entity using the Jawdah platform, including both testers and companies.
- Testers: Individuals or entities offering software testing services on Jawdah.
- Companies: Businesses or individuals hiring testers through Jawdah for software testing services.
2. Eligibility
- To use Jawdah, users must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
- Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration and maintain the accuracy of this information.
3. Account Registration
- Users must create an account to access the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- Jawdah reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Platform Usage
Jawdah connects testers with companies in need of software testing services. We facilitate communication and transactions between users, but Jawdah is not responsible for the quality of services provided by testers or the payment practices of companies.
Users agree to use the platform in good faith and refrain from any illegal or unethical behavior.
5. Testers' Responsibilities
- Testers must provide accurate descriptions of their services, skills, and availability. They agree to deliver high-quality work, meet deadlines, and adhere to the agreed-upon project requirements.
- Testers must maintain confidentiality and refrain from disclosing sensitive information related to the company's projects.
6. Companies' Responsibilities
- Companies must provide clear and accurate project details, timelines, and expectations when hiring testers.
- Companies agree to make timely payments for services rendered and provide feedback to testers when necessary.
7. Payment Terms
Payment transactions between testers and companies will be facilitated through the Jawdah platform. The exact terms of payment, including rates and timelines, will be agreed upon between the parties prior to the start of the project.
Jawdah may charge a platform fee for its services. These fees will be disclosed to users at the time of engagement.
8. Refund Policy
- Jawdah is not responsible for resolving payment disputes between testers and companies. Users are encouraged to communicate and resolve issues independently. In exceptional cases, Jawdah may mediate disputes, but this is at our discretion.
- No refunds will be provided for completed and accepted services unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
9. Intellectual Property
- Testers agree that all intellectual property created as part of a project belongs to the hiring company, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Jawdah retains all rights to the platform, including its design, content, and functionality.
10. Confidentiality
Both testers and companies agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information they receive while using Jawdah. This includes, but is not limited to, business practices, technical data, and project details.
Users may not share or disclose confidential information without prior consent from the disclosing party.
11. Termination
- Jawdah reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account at any time for breach of these terms or for any reason at our discretion.
- Users may terminate their accounts by notifying Jawdah in writing. Upon termination, all outstanding payments or obligations must be fulfilled.
12. Prohibited Conduct
- Users are prohibited from engaging in fraudulent activities, misrepresenting their skills or services, violating intellectual property rights, or engaging in any behavior that disrupts the platform or harms other users.
- Jawdah may take legal action against users who violate these terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a tester and a company, Jawdah encourages users to resolve issues amicably through direct communication. If this fails, users may request mediation through the platform.
Any legal claims arising from the use of the platform will be governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and users agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
14. Limitation of Liability
- Jawdah is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the platform or services provided by testers or companies.
- Jawdah makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of the services offered through the platform.
15. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold Jawdah harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the platform or violation of these terms.
16. Modifications to Terms
Jawdah reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
17. Privacy Policy

18. Third-Party Links
Jawdah may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites and services.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
